DBT FOR FRONT LINE WORKERS TRAINING
This one day training is designed and adapted for front line mental health practitioners to utilize crisis survival skills within the Distress Tolerance module in DBT and provide skills coaching directly with adults or youths experiencing crises in various settings. This training combines didactic teaching with multi-media tools in order to provide a hands-on experience.
Participants are recommended to hold a Masters degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent. This training is pre-approved for 6 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA-ACCP).
*Please note that this is an adapted training for front line mental health workers, and does not serve as a substitute for the 5 day comprehensive training.
